A Transnational Ecosystem of Culturally-Semantic Relationships - Indonesia + U.S.A.

I noticed, upon checking on my Google AdSense and Analytics account, for my Content Publishing [blogging] monetization program, that my most ardent readership basis, over on my main blog, happens to hail from Indonesia, lately.

From Google Search:

20 Things Indonesia is famous for

I’d have to admit, off-hand, that I don’t think about Java or Indonesia all that much, lately. It takes a moment for some of the relevance of the thought of the country, and some more off of a quick Google lookup and rich results, to refreshen and awaken the memories.

Ahhh, Indonesia. That’s where Java and Bali are located. As you’ll see, the Southeast Asian expanse of nations, venturing on, in to the Pacific Islander nations, such as the Philippines, is south of China, and the countries are situated facing east towards the Pacific Ocean.

My significant relevance, here:

  1.  I took Gamelan (musical ensemble), back in my University days, and performed the traditional music of Javanese Indonesia (Balinese Gamelan is a different form, tuning, and style of traditional Indonesian music.
  2. The music is cyclical, in notation, theory, and form.
  3. I like using the Concentric app on iPadOS, which, although strongly founded upon Euclidean Geometry, and Indonesia, a span of cultures and nations which are part of the South-East Asian (lower Pacific) distinction, geographically-speaking; both foundations of knowledge | etiology and theory of form and aesthetics in music | or mathematics bear heavily upon the [circle] as a foundational grounding mechanism
  4. Trance music is similarly structured as cyclical (electronic trance music). I was big in to emulating trance music, back in my school days, as I learned how to use my Roland XP-80 synthesizer keyboard and Logic Pro, as my software DAW (Digital Audio Workstation).
  5. Trance music rituals and dance cultural idiom forms characterize the folklore and cultural tapestry that Gamelan music is founded upon, given that the musical form, cyclical in nature that it is, and for that it somewhat seems as though the cyclical form and construction of larger compositional ideas, as well as micro-forms, as construed as that the “busy work,” or polyrhythms, of trance-styled musics, as notable traits of both musical heritages, whether it be Westernized or South-East Asian.
  6. My ex-fiancée, from college, was from the Philippines (trivia, but the nations are situated nearby this current focus I have upon this geographic region, and it’s cultures).

That being said, I recently, also, placed an order for fragrance ingredients, sourced from Thailand, which, being one of the island nations neighboring Indonesia, shares some cultural traits with Java and Bali (Indonesia), such as traditions in food that are similar.

I’ll get in to some more details, as I prepare another musical “nursery” of app analytics takes and slight compositional works, for Concentric, as I develop my repertoire, gather sampled sounds, and device manners and means of intelligently presenting the Concentric cyclical compositions, as unique and developing musical structures, based upon cyclical forms, as Balinese and Javanese Gamelan both are, in addition to Concentric’s Euclidean geometry as the basis of formae.

For now, I’ve got a parfumerie shelf [by Threshold, at Target] to hang, and some ingredients to put to the shelf, for presentation and utility purposes. I’ve got a significant mess-making problem I need to attend to.
